5 Tips on What to Write About in a Blog Post

In our discussion today, let’s take a look at an easy way to figure out what to write when you are creating your blog post. I always go back to the basics when I am writing a blog post. The basics mean that I go back to the 5 W’s. If you are not aware of what the 5 W’s are, let me give you a brief list. They are who, what, when where and why.

So you may be wondering how we take those words and make a blog post. To begin with if you use each of these words, you immediately have five paragraphs. Five paragraphs even if they are short will give you plenty of content for one post. 75 to 100 words in each paragraph gives you some nice content for a post.

Let’s take a look at each word by starting with the word who. Whatever the niche is that you are writing about, you can always talk about who you are writing to, what these people (who) should do about the niche and how the who are associated with the niche. Next if you are wondering what to write about, you can always write about what the problem or issue is. The next word  when should refer to when these issues or problems related to the niche can occur. Next you want to consider where the problems or issues can occur. You might also think about where the problems associated with the niche can be resolved. Finally, you can write about why the problem occurs as well as why you have the answer to the problems.

These are some really basic ways that you can come up with some content for you blog post. As you can see, there are really a lot of ways that you can write content. You could use each word for a paragraph, but you could also use one word and come up with enough content for one word.
