There is a phrase that is heard throughout the world of blogs and websites. That phrase is that “Content is King”. What does that mean and what does that mean to you as the blogger. In our discussion today, we are going to understand what that phrase means and how you can apply it to your blog.
Content means that you must have letters, words, phrase, sentences and paragraphs throughout the blog. They may be on a specific topic or they may cover a variety of topics. They might be form facts, or they might just be a sharing of opinions and thoughts. This is what content is. You may be wondering how it is going to get into the blog. Well, the content can come from a variety of places. It could be something that you have written. It might come from something that your friend has written for you. Finally it might come from someone you don’t know but who will write your content for you. For some of you, you are probably jumping up and down and clapping your hands for joy. If someone told you that you had to write all the time, you might find yourself running for the hills.
Let’s be a little more specific as to where you might be able to find this content. Of course the easiest way to get this content is for you to write it yourself. Honestly if you write the content yourself, you don’t have to worry about paying anyone. However, if you are not a writer, you can hire one.
Another place to get content is to invite other bloggers to be your guest and have them write some content either related to your niche or related to some thoughts that they would like to share about your niche. These posts are often referred to as guest posts and the folks that you invite are known as guest bloggers.
A final place that you can get content from is from other blogs or from article directories. There are a ton of article directories available for your perusal. You can explore these directories for articles about your niche. Probably the most well-known article directory is Ezinearticles.com. A couple of other directories include goarticles.com and freeaffiliatearticles. com. You won’t want to copy the articles directly, however you can use the information that is found in various articles.
