Are you interested in enabling or disabling all iOS notifications or alerts on the fly? Is this just another app to add to the the ton you already have on your device? Something important to remember is that with a lot of different apps, you probably also have a lot of different alerts flying across your screen. With the use of the alerts, you have a better chance of knowing what is going on and also making sure that you don’t miss anything that is important. Sometimes however, too many of those alerts can become an annoyance rather than a help.
If you are in the middle of a game or maybe you are working on a paper. You probably would rather stop the alerts and then turn them on at a later time than to have them constantly flying across your screen. Well of course you could go in and turn off each one of these notifications. However, they would become quite time consuming and cumbersome. A new tweak is now available through Cydia that will help take care of this situation. This tweak is known as the BannerDisable tweak.
This is available from the BigBoss repository and will cost you nothing to download. You must have iOS 5 or higher in order for it to function correctly an your device must be jailbroken and be able to access Cydia. Once you have downloaded and installed the tweak, it will insert a button that says Do Not Disturb on it. This button is inserted into the native Setting application. The pressing of the button will either turn on or turn off the banner notifications based on what the user’s needs are. So instead of having to turn on or off each notification individually, with the click of the button, you can turn them all on or off at once.
You will not see any other changes in your icons on your screen and there are no other changes to your settings. This particular tweak is also available for eight different languages and can really be a time saver when you are ready to stop the alerts from traveling across your screen.
