One of my favorite sporting events is coming up in just over a month. The London Olympics will be starting at the end of July 1. I love to watch all of the pageantry that comes with the Olympic games. There are often a lot of feel good stories and these games also often give us a lot of highs and lows for two weeks. With the dream of gold or even a medal, athletes come together from all over the world to give their best. For many their best is the fact that they made it to the games.
With the advent of numerous types of technical devices from phones to tablets, this year will present some new opportunities to be an Olympic participant. There is also now available to both Android and iOS users an Olympic game, London 2012 Olympics Game. In this game, you can pretend that you are the athlete, swimming those 50 yard butterfly races or running the 100 yard dash. The game, just as in the real Olympics, offers a wide range of sporting activities that players can participate in. There are actually 9 different events that you can compete in. These include the 100 meters sprint, the 100 meter hurdles, the 110 meter hurdles, the 100 meter freestyle, the double trap, the triple jump, the pole vault, the 100 meter butterfly, kayaking and archery. There are three different levels within the game, and each level is based on how difficult that level is. The players must train an athlete through the use of 22 items found within the game. There are two versions of the application that include a free version and a premium version.
