When designing your blog, there are a lot of things that you must consider. Two factors that are really important are the colors used in the blog and the way the blog is laid out. If you investigate a variety of blogs, you will find that there are a large variety of color layouts. Some bloggers may be backgrounds of one solid color, backgrounds that use different colors. Sometimes the background may include a variety of images. You also might see a background full of textures. The background may be just about any color that you can think of. You may have a favorite color, but you must ask yourself if that is the best color to use. You also must view your blog with different eyes. Try to view your blog as if you were the visitor to that blog. if you do this, then you will have a better idea if that blog is appealing to the visitor. If the colors don’t blend well together or are just too bold and bright, the visitors may quickly click away and not come back to your blog. So be careful what colors you choose for your blog. Make sure that they are pleasant and pleasing to the eyes of the visitors.
Just as the colors must be appealing, you also want to make sure that the layout is also appealing to the eyes. The arrangement of the text and the images should be presented in a format that makes sense to the reader. It must be easy to read and follow. If the visitor to your site does not see this, again the may not stay at your site or they may not come back to your site. If the site is too jumbled or if the site is too hard to follow the text, then the readers will quickly find another blog that makes sense to them. So as you work on the design of your blog, keep these two factors in mind.
